Privacy, seclusion, relaxation and outdoor activities are yours at Morgan Marsh. Whether you want to simply relax on the large porch and take in the sights and sounds of nature, nap on a hammock under the trees, enjoy star gazing and s’mores at the fire pit or partake in the many recreational activities nearby, Morgan Marsh has it all. Located conveniently to the towns of Dushore, Forksville, LaPorte and Eagles Mere and the many amenities Sullivan County has to offer. Enjoy the proximity to Loyalsock State Forest, Worlds End State Park, Ricketts Glen State Park, Sones Pond, Hunters Lake, the Haystacks and many hiking trailheads.

Sited on 11.3 acres of woodlands this single story, 2 bedroom, 2 bath cabin comfortably sleeps 6 with a queen bed in one bedroom, an antique brass double bed in a second bedroom and a queen sofa bed in the living room. A fully equipped kitchen, bed & bath linens, 2 TVs with DISH service, a cabinet stocked with board games and puzzles, ample firewood for the fire pit and a gas grill with picnic table complete the picture. Guests of Morgan Marsh will enjoy the use of a canoe, 2 kayaks and 3 bicycles. Floatation devices are available for use with the canoe and kayaks and an air pump is available for the bicycles. If needed foam roof blocks and tie-down straps are available to transport the kayaks and canoe.

CELL PHONE and INTERNET are NOT available. A land line phone is available for emergency use. Sorry, NO PETS. (We know it keeps saying pets allowed.)

During winter months when snow is present or predicted AWD or 4WD vehicles are recommended.

Serene Getaway

"Looking for a serene get away with all the comforts of home - don't wait, schedule a getaway to Morgan Marsh. Peacefully nestled in the beautiful mountains, this vacation spot is an ideal place to kick back and relax or experience many outdoor activities such as hiking, canoeing, kayaking or just sitting around the fire pit enjoying a few s'mores. The beautiful cabin is immaculate with every possible amenity including a complimentary bottle of wine. It is obvious the owners took great care in selecting items to marry the interior to the rustic outdoors. Each piece is a strategically placed to add to the comfortable, homey ambiance. If the weather turns rainy, there are plenty of games and jigsaw puzzles to enjoy. We plan to visit again soon and look forward to exploring this spectacular part of Pennsylvania.

Picturesque and Secluded

"Spectacular! The pictures on line, do not do this picturesque location any justice. Welcomed by warm lighting and also greeted by a bottle of wine on the counter was a welcomed sight from our long rainy drive to relaxation. The cabin was imacculate and very well stocked with your eveyday items. This cabin was beautiful and tastefully decorated, which made you feel comfy and welcomed. During “peak week”, the back porch quicly became our quiet thoughtful spot. Our days started off with coffee on the porch, which later became wine on the porch and then moving to the firepit in the evening , for smores and camp-pies, where the most amazing starlit skies imaginable appear. Completely off the beaten path, secluded and remote where the only cars you hear are the handful of cars that travel the road in front you. After many years ( 35 years) of vacationing in Sulivan County, other than Ricketts Glen, this is completely our new place to diconnect from the world and reconnect with each other. We want to thank the owners of Morgan Marsh for sharing this amazing location and accomidating us during our amazing stay. Thanks to Kim and Kas for making this rental possible, they were both friendly, responsive and helpful with our reservations. We can’t wait to go back to enjoy the serenity of this cabin.

Relaxing getaway

"What a great place to getaway and unwind. The location is quiet and peaceful. The owners have paid great attention to detail in providing everything you would need. The property was clean and well equipped. So nice to have kayaks and bikes to use during our stay. We hope to revisit this property again.

Morgan Marsh silent getaway.

"Great clean cabin in the woods, with lots of amenities. Close enough to a town for food but far enough for peace and quiet. We used the kayaks, the bikes and the fire pit that was already there. The cabin is close enough to both Worlds end and Rickets Glen which are great hikes. At Rickets Glen you can use the provided kayaks or rent kayaks. This cabin was a great retreat from city life and Kas and Kim were very responsive and made our stay very easy. Thanks!

Tranquil Cabin Getaway!

"I recently had the pleasure of spending a weekend at Morgan Marsh! It was the most enchanting modern rustic cabin nestled in the heart of the woods. I must say that this getaway was an absolute gem, providing a delightful blend of tranquility, comfort, and nature. From the moment I set foot on the property, I was captivated by the ambiance that surrounded the cabin. Tucked away on a wooded private lot, the cabin offered a sense of seclusion that was just what I needed to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life. This cabin's location is perfect for outdoor adventures, with hiking trails through the woods and opportunities for kayaking on nearby waters. The proximity to Ricketts Glen State Park and Loyalsock State Park was great as I got to explore their lakes and ponds and take in the waterfalls along the trails. Stepping inside the cabin was like stepping into a haven of coziness and modern convenience. The rustic decor charm, with wooden accents and earthy tones that seamlessly blended with the natural surroundings. But what truly impressed me was the level of cleanliness and comfort that the cabin offered. It was immaculately maintained, and every nook and cranny reflected the care that the owners put into ensuring a pristine space. I will definitely be back soon for some more R&R!
