Tucked in off Pennsylvania Avenue you will find this gem of a cottage. Duck Crossing offers five bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms within the spacious open floor-plan home. Central air conditioning on the main level and in the one bedroom on the second floor for those warm days, and a gas fireplace for the chilly nights are amongst the many great features of this cozy getaway!
You enter the first floor through an entrance way that opens to a dining room with bench seats and a sitting area. The enclosed porch features copper ceilings and comfortable lounge furniture to relax and additional dining area to enjoy the woodland views; open the windows up to allow the fresh air to breeze in. To the left end of the home there is an additional dining area, a living room with a large flat screen television, a fully stocked kitchen, and a half bathroom. The first floor also expands to the right side of the cottage where there is a large bathroom with a steam shower, claw foot tub, double sinks, and a laundry room area. There is a master bedroom with a queen size bed, walk in closet, and a private bathroom with a tub shower combination. The master bedroom has a private patio area. There is a staircase leading to another bedroom with a set of three bunk beds with trundles under each, and a cozy couch.
The second floor has three additional bedrooms; the first bedroom with full bed plus a large walk-in closet and an air conditioning unit, the second bedroom has a full bed with access to a shared deck with the third bedroom. The third bedroom has a queen size bed with a private bathroom with a tub shower combination. There is an additional spacious bathroom at the end of the hall with a tub shower combination to complete the upstairs.
Duck Crossing sleeps up to sixteen. This is a non-smoking cottage. Pets are not permitted. Wifi available, internet is not guaranteed. Propane fireplace. Generator.

Everything about my stay was truly amazing. From the beautiful home to the loaded amenities that Duck Crossing has to offer. Everything was very clean upon arrival and well stocked. Definitely a well needed relaxing weekend with family in a home away from home. I will definitely be returning in the near future!

Our family has been renting homes since before vrbo and Airbnb was a thing. But this is one cool house. It has way way more room than the description and the pictures show. They have lots of common spaces. And bedrooms have separate temperature controls and the kitchen has everything you need and then some. Felt right at home. Thank you for an amazing family home to spend time with family. We may come again. Oh and the rental company was extremely easy to work with. Super nice people.
